Richard Ede, a member of the Boningale Nurseries team, opened his unusual garden in Albrighton to his work colleagues and their families for charity earlier this summer.
For not only does his garden contain fabulous blooms, well-kept shrubs and other plants of interest – it also has a model railway that he has painstakingly and skilfully built over many years.
Rockery Ridge comprises a G-scale railway, complete with rolling stock with battery, electric and steam trains, as well as station buildings and other vehicles.
It has been a real labour of love for Richard and he was keen for his colleagues to see what he has achieved in return for a donation for Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge.
Not only did they all have a great time, watching the trains whizz around the garden, he also raised £60.35 for the charity.
