Kayleigh Pountney has joined us as a trainee sales representative. She has previously worked in a sales background, including retail and reclamation, and is now learning all about the Boningale operation, how our systems work and the day to day running of the business.
Kayleigh will be office-based, and her role will include meeting and helping our customers who come on-site.
Outside of work, as well as being a keen gardener, Kayleigh is also a VW enthusiast, and is currently restoring her 1965 Beetle.
Neil Perry is our new stock controller. This is a brand new position for the company, which will involve maintaining the stock control system, monitoring home-grown stock and working closely with purchasing and sales when stock is available for sale. Neil’s role will help ensure less incomplete orders leave the nursery.
Neil previously managed a Focus DIY store for more than 20 years, and brings a wealth of experience to the post.
He is married with two young children, and lives locally in Pattingham.
The bare root season is now under way in earnest, which is obviously an extremely busy time for the business, so we are really pleased to have two extra staff on board to help ensure efficiency, and to make the most of every opportunity this season.
We hope Kayleigh and Neil will be very happy at Boningale, and look forward to seeing their careers flourish with the company.
